Get to know me
I get a great sense of wellbeing being able to help and guide individuals and couples into a greater understanding and appreciation of life.
I am the in-house mental health counsellor for a legal company and lead their personnel mental health team. Their staff encounter situations where they have to develop cases for clients who have suffered the most abhorrent treatment imaginable.
It is my role to help them understand and process such cases so that their own mental health is protected. The company also provides funding for me to visit their clients on their behalf to help them recover and get their lives back on track.

My Approach
The first step in helping my clients is to listen, not just to respond but to fully understand, to put myself in your shoes. I then use my skills developed over many years to develop a way to guide you to a place where these insecurities, anxieties and stresses are objectively addressed.
My solution may involve a variety of ways to address the situation, from meditation, CBT therapy, mindfulness training and so on. In short, I will tailor a way for you to move forward, at a pace that you find comfortable, to empower you to see just how wonderful a life can be.

My professional background
Having undergone significant experience in mental health in my home town in South Africa I came to the UK in 2005 to continue my studies. Since then, I have worked in various mental health care facilities, helping both residents and staff with their mental and psychological needs. I have helped parents / guardians understand their children`s challenging behaviours, school avoidance, social inadequacies and social anxieties.
In 2025 I decided to launch my own professional practice. Many of my clients have severe mental trauma, sometimes over their entire lifetime, others as a result of a traumatic experience which may have led to PTSD. I am willing to help you overcome whatever you are going through.
I never stop acquiring knowledge, it is my passion, when not learning about my clients concerns and planning a resolution on their behalf, I spend my time studying to learn new techniques / obtaining professional qualifications so as to serve and help my clients achieve mental peacefulness. Your mental health is always the most prominent concern it is my sincere aim to help you achieve a healthier mental health state.
